Patient Care Services Technician
JOB DESCRIPTION: PHARMACY TECHNICIAN – PATIENT CARE SERVICES DEPARTMENT
Health Dimensions is a different type of pharmacy where custom prescription care is designed around the needs of each and every patient. We work day shifts and no evenings, holidays or weekends. This is a practice environment where team members are empowered to fulfill our company mission to “take care of patients, make them well and deliver exceptional customer service experiences”. Our patient care services team seeks a new team member who is a clear communicator and enjoys coordinating care for the needs of physicians and patients.
A day in the HDRX Patient Care Services Department may include:
- Answering phone calls and handling customer issues
- Contacting physicians to verify prescription information
- Contacting patients for payment/filling issues
- Consulting with patients of non-clinical issues with regards to prescriptions
- Refilling prescriptions
- New prescription order entry
- Triage printers and double checks
- Front register and shipping back up (when necessary)

Must maintain a clean, professional appearance in accordance with the company policy. Business casual or medical garb (scrubs) required.
